Mira Mesans gathered January 12 at the Mira Mesa Moose Lodge 2108 Family Center to celebrate the life of Bob O’Hara, a longtime Mira Mesa resident and active community volunteer. Born on February 9, 1933, Bob O’Hara was 86. He was active with many Mira Mesa civic groups over the years, including the Mira Mesa Town Council, 4th of July Committee, Landscape Maintenance District Committee, and the Mira Mesa Moose Lodge 2108, of which he was currently a Trustee.

Bob O’Hara was honored by the Mira Mesa Town Council as the 1993 Mira Mesa Volunteer of the Year. MMTC sends condolences to Brenda Bowman, Bob’s wife since 2015 and to all his family and friends. O’Hara will be missed, but long remembered in Mira Mesa!
