Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Students will explore the basics of circuits and electronic elements by using them in craft projects. Possible projects include a moving origami swan, light-up LED bracelet, moving robot bug, Play-Doh electronic sculpture, paper-circuit game or light-effects card. Each student will take home a working electronic craft.

Tech Teachings: Learn the Basics About Computers

Introduction to 3D Printing
Saturday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Learn about 3D printing, tutorials to 3D Printing software, and how to expand your creativity using this emerging technology! Projects will be printed offsite and can be picked up at a future meeting. Printing size will be limited. Aimed at kids ages 8 – 17.

The Green Thumbs: A Children’s Garden Club!
First and Third Mondays at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Exposure to nature through play leads to exploration and discovery, engaging both the physical and mental abilities of children. This program is for kids to learn about the environment, gardening and how to care for the earth! For 18 months – 8 years of age and takes place at the Inner Garden. No registration is required. However, Parent must attend with child.

Academic Enrichment/Homework Assistance
Every Wednesday at 6:00p.m. – 7:30p.m.
Speak to our homework coaches about helping your child complete their homework and improve their academic skills in math, reading, writing, and science! Free academic enrichment for students 1st-10th grade. Students must be 7 years or older. No registration necessary. This program is located at the Teen Area and facilitated by high school students, college students and post-college volunteers.

Program Your Future: Introduction to Front End Web Technologies
Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (No class on March 8)
This program is for students 9 th -12 th grade and their parents. Students will receive instruction from local industry experts using UC San Diego Extension curriculum. This educational approach provides students with the foundational skillset required for professional opportunities, internships and collegiate pursuits-whatever their goals may be. Students need to complete all three courses in a 9 month period to earn certificate.

Craft Circle Café
Every Monday at 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
If you like DIY craft projects AND socializing with other crafters, please join us for Craft Circle Cafe. Bring your own project – scrapbooking, needlework, knitting, coloring or work on the project being presented. Drop in for a short time or stay the entire time. Plenty of table space and some materials/supplies will also be available. Want to learn something new? Create family photo albums? Make a special card for someone? Someone will be available to offer suggestions and assistance.
