Soon –

For details, see

Due to concerns of COVID-19 the MMHS Foundation has decided to cancel the Taste of Mira Mesa. However, the MMHS Foundation still plans to host the event virtually, with an online silent auction, raffles, and pledge drive as a fundraising activity on behalf of Mira Mesa High School, as well as middle schools, and elementary schools in Mira Mesa.

Taste of Mira Mesa will go virtual “after spring break,” according to the MMHS Foundation. Details will be posted at

“We will continue on with the silent auction, raffles, and pledge drive. We thank you for your continued support, as we do use the funds to support our students and teachers in the classroom and other needs of the school. Please look for future updates regarding our Taste of Mira Mesa event going virtual.”

We will close the Mira Mesa Senior Center March 17-April 3, 2020.

On Monday, March 16, we will be open only from 11:00am-1:00pm, so affected patrons can receive their meal and sign-up for home lunch delivery during the closure. Freaky Friday Performances Cancellation

Dear MMHS Theatre Program friends and family. We are so sorry to have to announce that the remaining performances of the musical Freaky Friday (3/13 @ 7PM, and 3/14 @ 2PM & 7 PM) have been canceled at the direction of public health partners and the school district. With the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) into San Diego County decisions like this are being made to ensure the well being of students, staff and the community.

With that said, we know many of you have tickets for these shows. The MMHS Theatre Program is self funded and runs on the income from the Theatre Club fundraisers and ticket sales. The money from these upcoming ticket sales has been spent and we will have bills to pay in the upcoming weeks and months. We would like to personally request that you consider donating your ticket purchase to the program to help with these expenses. If you decide to do this no further action is necessary. If, however, you would like a full or partial refund please reach out to us at and include your order number and information and we will work on processing your refund. If you purchased your tickets at the high school you will need to stop by the ticket box office at lunch or after school. Please know that this will take some time to process and we ask for your patience.

It was a terribly emotional day for the cast and crew who have spent the last 3 months working so hard on this show, but we all know that our health and the health of our loved ones is our first priority.

Thank you for your past and continued support in these very uncertain times. Stay safe and well.

Daniel Kriley
