The Mira Mesa Town Council is sad to announce this year’s Mira Mesa Street Fair, scheduled for Oct. 3, 2020, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. MMTC plans to bring back Street Fair next year. The 22nd annual Mira Mesa Street Fair will be held on October 2, 2021, 10 AM to 5 PM, Camino Ruiz from Mira Mesa Blvd. to New Salem St. Vendor applications will be posted at https://www.miramesatowncouncil.org in April or May 2021.
Now, the good news: For community entertainment this Fall, MMTC Board member Teri Ang has volunteered to put together a virtual entertainment performance, done on video, which could be viewed on the MMTC website and other social media. Teri, who has been Street Fair Entertainment Chair the past several years, emailed community groups and bands who have performed on the Street Fair Music Stage and Community Stage to let them know about the project. All interested performers are encouraged to participate! Community groups are asked to upload a video of no more than 10 minutes long, and bands can upload videos of up to 5 songs. Files should be named like this: Group Name Song/talent.
Please complete the form and upload your video in the Virtual Street Fair Application form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScjU5y_JDrlyq9h9dBOFz6zTUTQ0wXug2HrrEdlG1Ge0iDSyg
