Calling all Mira Mesa community groups, local businesses, singers, dancers, actors, bands, musicians, magicians, and performers of all sorts, from martial arts practitioners to mimes: you are invited to submit a brief video (up to 10 minutes) for the Mira Mesa Town Council’s Virtual Street Fair Show!
MMTC Board member Teri Ang has volunteered to put together a virtual entertainment performance, done on video, which could be viewed in October via the MMTC website and other social media, now that MMTC has had to cancel this year’s Mira Mesa Street Fair due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Teri, who has been Street Fair Entertainment Chair the past several years, emailed community groups and bands who have performed on the Street Fair Music Stage and Community Stage to let them know about the opportunity. However, as of mid- September, Teri says she’s only received a handful of responses.
“To be able to do this, I need your videos,” Teri says.
MMTC has extended the deadline to submit videos to October 1, 2020.
Community groups are asked to upload a video of no more than 10 minutes long, and bands can upload videos of up to 5 songs.
Files should be named like this:
Group Name Song/talent
Please complete the form and upload your video in the Virtual Street Fair Application form:
